I am grateful for every child I know, interact with, or encounter. I am mindful that You knew each of them before they were formed in their mother’s womb. You also have plans for them that are good, not evil.
I pray for them this morning with hope and trust. I pray that You, in Your divine wisdom, will continue to keep them and lead them down the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
I pray for the boys to be men after Your heart and the girls to be daughters of Zion.
I pray they will obey their parents in the Lord and honor their fathers and mothers so that it may be well with them. I pray that they desire to read Your Word and that You will give them understanding and insight as they read. I pray that Your Word will be alive to them and in them. I pray that as they read Your Word, light shines, they see Your path and obtain direction, counsel, comfort, peace, joy, and strength.
In the name of Jesus, I resist the enemy’s advances to lure them away. I push back the enemy’s advances to take them out of the faith and lead them into sin.
In Jesus’s name, I resist the advances of the enemy to lure them into idolatry.
I declare they will have the strength to stand in the faith without wavering or being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. I resist the lure of witches, witchcraft, sexual sins, and sins against their bodies. I resist the lure of the enemy to pull them into gambling, gang violence, drinking, smoking, drug use, pornography, or sexual addiction.
I declare that they will not eat the forbidden fruit or give in. If they do, I pray that you will pick them up, forgive them of their sins, cleanse them, and show them Your love, grace, and mercy.
For the children that are not in You, I pray for their souls. I pray they hear the gospel soon and receive it. I pray for their caretakers, parents, fathers, mothers, and those in their households to receive salvation. I pray that You would draw them now. Reveal Yourself to those who belong to You. Reveal Yourself, Your love, and all that You have provided so they can be one with You. I pray that the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ be preached to them. I pray they encounter evangelists and those preaching the good news of Jesus Christ.
I come against lies and misconceptions that might hinder their reception of You. I pull down every argument and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of You. Let truth expose every lie, misconception, and tradition that makes the Word of God of no effect. Allow Your truth to surface about who You are, what You desire, and what You have given them. Let them be led and guided into all truth concerning who You are and Your existence.
I pray for their emotional protection, for I know the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy children. I come against every emotional attack and declare that it is demolished in the name of Jesus. I declare that the agenda to use their emotions as gates to bring in perversion, idolatry, drug use, and the like is canceled in the name of Jesus. I declare the plan of the enemy to be null, void, and invalid in the name of Jesus.
Father, protect them emotionally and prohibit the enemy’s plan to move in while they are emotionally vulnerable. Guard them when they are upset, angry, sad, troubled, disappointed, embarrassed, fearful, excited, bored, and trusting. Let not the enemy come in to take advantage of them. Give them discernment to know good from evil. Teach them to handle their emotions effectively and healthily.
Father, protect them psychologically. Protect them against the psychological warfare and the attacks on their minds. I bind confusion, irrational thinking, and suicidal thoughts. I intercede for them, casting down vain imaginations and high things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of You. I cancel depressive thoughts, anxious thoughts, thoughts of worry, and thoughts of shame. I bind doublemindedness and thoughts of insecurity. I bind thoughts that would cause them to doubt who they are and what they are. I bind thoughts intentionally sown to lead them into confusion, questioning, and indecision. Father, may those thoughts be sent back to the pits of Hell. I declare they will refuse those thoughts and will not take root. I declare those evil thoughts will not be pondered or mediated on, but they will think on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and good report.
Father, I ask that You give them thoughts of peace, hope, love, joy, security, and consolation in You. I pray that You would give them thoughts of their expected end. I pray they learn to practice keeping their minds fixed, focused, and locked in on You.
I declare they will keep their sanity, right-mindedness, soundness, and rationale in the name of Jesus.
Father, protect them physically, for I know the enemy targets those who cannot defend themselves. Protect them from all hurt, harm, and maliciousness. Father, in the name of Jesus, I resist, crush, tackle, and take down those who use their hands, voices, resources and means to bring evil to Your children. Silence the abusers. Disable and immobilize, cripple, expose, and disempower those who seek to bring harm to any child.
I declare their freedom in the name of Jesus. I declare their freedom from these activities, circumstances, and situations. I declare they are being exposed, found out, and uncovered and that children are free. I declare their freedom from any torture, abuse, or neglect. I declare their escape, breakthrough, and victory. Father, bring every child into a place of safety and stability and deliver them from trouble, distress, agony, fear, and trauma.
