I pray for the influence of the Church of this generation to be a light wherever we are.
Father, as the Church, may your light shine through us, dispelling the darkness surrounding us.
May our presence as Your people, as lights, bring goodness to those around us. May those we encounter see and experience goodness simply because we are present in their lives, bringing light where darkness has been absent.
Father, wherever ministries are established throughout this world, may they be bearers of light in every location. May we bring the light of strength, love, mercy, peace, hope, kindness, and goodness to those around us.
Where Your love has been concealed, may our light bring it to the surface, penetrating and shattering the darkness of every lie, misunderstanding, erroneous teaching, and false doctrine regarding Your love.
Wherever Your mercy has been hidden from some, may the light we shine as Your people reveal that mercy. May those around us come to understand that Your mercy endures forever. May our light shine brightly, making people aware that Your mercies are renewed each morning. May the light show that You are the Father of mercies. May it expose and reveal that Your mercy is everlasting.
May the light we shine uncover hope in places of hopelessness. May our light shine; where people do not believe there is hope, may they see that light is shining for them.
Where there is no purpose, may the light we show reveal the purposes and plans You had for them before the foundation of the world. Father, wherever we are, where people think there can be no better, believing that peace, recovery, and restoration are impossible, may the light we shine show them otherwise. May the light we shine open up, provide a view, expand the view, and show us the paths we must take.
Father, cause our lights to shatter darkness and discouragement wherever You allow it to shine. Cause it to shatter discouragement, hopelessness, misery, doom, and sorrow.
May people see as they have never seen before, seeing farther and deeper.
May the light we shine in this hour draw others to You, pull people in darkness to You, get their attention, and attract them to You. May the light we shine in this hour bring attention to You, Christ Jesus.
